This is the financial settlement layer. It enables instant, low-Asta t cross-border payments across the continent.

The Payment Corridor includes:

  • Jowih Credits — Jowih Credits are established as a stable, asset-backed digital utility bridge token. They are not a speculative cryptocurrency. They do not involve mining, staking, interest, yield, or dividends. Their sole purpose is to serve as a neutral, efficient bridge between African local currencies and foreign currencies, enabling faster, cheaper, and more stable cross-border payments, remittances, global trade settlement, and investment inflows into Africa.

Jowih Credits do not compete with or replace national currencies. They are designed to ease pressure on local currencies by handling international and cross-border transactions where local currencies face structural limitations. Local currencies remain the foundation for domestic economic activity.

Jowih Credits are issued and operated in compliance with the Mauritius VAITOS Act 2021 (Virtual Asset and Initial Token Offering Services Act), the Mauritius Companies Act 2001, FATF Recommendation 15 (new technologies and virtual assets), and applicable host country laws. The Foundation shall obtain and maintain Class S (Virtual Asset Market Place) and Class O (Wallet Services) licenses from the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC).
